Meaghan Noel Performing Arts Scholarship Fund
On March 9, 2015, Applause Academy suffered a great loss. Our beloved choreographer, Meaghan Noel, was killed in a tragic car accident. Meaghan was an extraordinary young woman. She positively touched the lives of so many Applause Academy children showing them kindness, compassion, and love for dance and musical theatre.
In memory of Meaghan, Applause Academy formed a non-profit organization - "The Meaghan Noel Performing Arts Scholarship" to award college scholarships to high school seniors in the Taunton, Chelmsford and surrounding areas seeking higher education in the performing arts to included musical theatre, dance, music, acting and technical theatre. |
How To Apply |
Applicants must complete and submit the Meaghan Noel Performing Arts Scholarship application on or before April 15. Also required is a minimum of one recommendation by a teacher or show director. Recommendations may be emailed to stipetich@applauseacademyma.com or mailed to Applause Academy MA, Inc. 125 Malibu Drive, Taunton, MA 02780.
Individuals selected will be required to attend an in-person interview with the scholarship committee to determine recipients for the Meaghan Noel Performing Arts Scholarship. Scholarship recipients will be invited to attend an Applause Academy production at which time the scholarships will be presented to the recipients. |
